WHAT I OFFER

 

My office is a safe, warm and empathetic environment for clients to share their unique life experiences and receive the validation and support that they need. Through counseling, I help clients discover the underlying causes for current struggles, which allows for a deeper level of healing, growth, sustained recovery and happiness. I believe that you already have the resources within you to solve issues and problems and heal from your past. My job as your therapist is to help you tap into that wealth of undiscovered knowledge, 

I hold dual master's degrees in Clinical Social Work as well as Marriage and Family Therapy and have received extensive training in a variety of settings, including Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, the Orange County Rescue Mission in Tustin, CA, and Pepperdine University's outpatient counseling clinic, where I provided individual, family, and group counseling on issues ranging from depression and anxiety to substance abuse and relationship difficulties. I have also worked in detox/rehab treatment centers providing therapy to individuals in recovery. I am a skilled practitioner of an approach that draws on systems theory, traditional cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), and narrative therapy. 

 

RATES

 

I currently accept the following insurance plans: Cigna/Evernorth, United Healthcare, Optum, Oscar, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Aetna, Medicaid/Cal-optima, Quest Behavioral.

 

I will verify your insurance benefits during our initial phone call and I will also let you know if there is a copayment.

If you wish to pay for sessions out-of-network, the rates are as follows:

45-minute session   $120

60-minute session   $150
